9/26 - Wyndham Data Breach Results in Lawsuit

/The Federal Trade Commision has sued Wyndham Worldwide Corp this June following multiple security breaches. The FTC typically does not enact penalties for first-time violators of the Consumer Privacy Act, but since Wyndham did not take proper security measures following the first breach, leading to the subsequent breaches, the lawsuit has been filed against the company.
